The proposed amendments are in response to the addition of a new municipal drinking water supply well in Aurora and the removal of a municipal supply well in Newmarket, which resulted in an expansion of the wellhead protection areas. Existing source protection plan policies, previously approved by the Minister, are not changing and will simply be extended to these new locations within the wellhead protection area.

Comments on the proposed amendments must be submitted in writing by February 20, 2020 to:
